A short bit on me: I’ve been writing for over 20 years with four books completed and a slew more grinding through the creative gears of my mind. Over that span, my shorter fiction has been published in pro-paying magazines. I was also blessed with a New York Foundation for the Arts Grant and was selected to be a resident artist at the internationally acclaimed Watermill Center. I later earned my MFA, and was shocked that my unpublished thesis novel garnered critical acclaim. This set me up to start my career in education as an English professor. I also play ice hockey at night where I pretend to be young.

My MFA thesis a near-future Frankenstein retelling Body Insurance, the character-driven literary fantasy The Undying, the gunslinging monster hunter set in Alaska entitled Land of a Thousand Ashes, my floating city romance novelette The Sky Gilded Gray, or any of my other gestating projects.
